CHAPTER 12
JONES COUNTY SOCIAL HOST ORDINANCE
TITLE V – PUBLIC ORDER, SAFETY & HEALTH

The recently enacted ordinance which targets underage drinking has prompted the ABH to inform hosts that are utilizing the clubs facilities to be aware that the Jones County Sherriff’s Department will have full access to our facilities during these events. The complete ordinance is attached to this mailing.

In other business, summer league will start June 4^th and end August 13^th. The prices will remain the same as last year, $50 for adults $10 for kids 16 and under. A sign-up sheet is located on the club bulletin board. Indicate your teams if you have a group you would like to shoot with or you can also call Adam 319.821.1804, Todd 319.480.6295, Larry 319.721.6297 or send Kathy an email to get signed up.

Turkey season was king of rough this spring we haven’t heard of a lot of birds taken so post your pictures at the club if you were one of the lucky ones. 

The Hunter education class held in March was completed with a full roster. Adam is working with the DNR to schedule another one in August, if you’re interested contact Adam Gangestad  821.1804 or check the dnr’s web page at: https://www.iowadnr.gov/training

We had 47 shooters at our Foul Weather Shoot which wasn’t too bad considering we inadvertently scheduled it on Easter. We’ll get Larry and Adam a bigger Calendar before we schedule next year. Thanks to everyone that helped in the kitchen that day.
